For a while

We laughed we talked we loved for a while..
In the road of life we walked many miles..
Together we sang the songs of spring..
She proudly flaunted her finger that adored my ring..

But then came a day when we lost our way..
Thousand words remained in heart..none could I say..

I still sing those songs and I wait for the spring..
I look for her as I play with the ring..
I still stand where she had left with a smile..
For she had said "Wait for me..I will be back in a while" ..
